Abstract

Small cell carcinoma of the ovary is a recently described tumor that typically occurs in young females and is frequently accompanied by paraendocrine hypercalcemia, Sine the first 11 cases were reported by Dikersin and colleagues in 1982, it have
been
reported 43 cases in world literauture, with almost 80 specimens seen by a single author. The histogenesis is obscure and accurate histologic diagnosis is often a problem for pathologists.
We had experienced a case of a 26years old woman with primary small cell carcinoma of the ovary and presented with a brief review of literactures.
